Viatges a Aston Ingham

It was a good view of the city. Well placed. Neighbour was loud but the bed was comfy.

We just stayed over for the one night, perfect clean hotel, staff are so very helpful, would definitely recommend to anybody, we will be staying there again.

I don’t know if it was because we visited off season but things just didn’t seem to be up to standard. The rooms weren’t the cleanest, I cleaned some bathroom tiles myself and the bed sheets were marked. Even the dining areas were not the best. Our experience mainly fell down with our food experiences throughout the stay, not that the food was bad just that the staff didn’t seem to listen. On our first night we ordered tofu curry and were served chicken (luckily it was not for a vegan) and on a separate day we ordered coffees at the cafe and were served iced drinks without even being asked. On both occasions we let it slide because the staff seemed to be spread a bit thin and just weren’t listening but upon coming home we weren’t really impressed with things given it’s a Hilton. Again, this could be because it’s off season and not a big event, but given the Hilton name we assumed standards would be higher even if we weren’t the mega money clients.

Breakfast included package on hotels.com was affordable and well worth it. Stayed Thursday-Sunday and found hotel quiet and relaxed. Friendly and accommodating hotel welcomes well behaved pets to most clean and tidy comfortable rooms and eating areas. Sitting in bar area by window for breakfast relaxing and comfortable. Regular staff seldom changing in personnel. Convenient access to town and a45/a428 or m1 safe parking area and local walks by canal or river including a reservoir make it a great place to stay.
