Perfect Christmas Getaway!!
We had an amazing stay over Christmas week. We had 14 of us (7 adults, 5 teenagers and 2 kids ages 8 & 11.) Here are highlights & a few suggestions for others staying here:- The communication with the host was fast and efficient. She was quick to respond and answer questions.- We were near so many wonderful activities and didn't have time to do them all. Highlights were: 1. Bear Valley Adventure Co. for a snow day of tubing. (If you can, bring your own and go to Alpine Lake snow park.) 2. Arnold Rim Trail 3. Yosemite (we had been in the summer, but seeing it in the winter was awesome!) 4. We were able to secure a permit and cut our own fresh Christmas tree! - We loved the kitchen and dining area! The table easily fits 12 with the leaves extended. We moved a few stools and made it fit 14. It was nice to have us all eat at the same table. The kitchen island is large and we ate buffet style from the island each night. The perfect place for our Christmas minute to win it games.- The living room and game room were popular too. - The view is amazing! We had snow several days and the trees were gorgeous and literally a few feet from the deck. - The cabin is in a neighborhood that is beautiful, has paved roads and well kept. Here are tips for your next stay: 1. Push the trash compactor in as you press the button near the floor. 2. Garbage pickup from the containers is Monday. We panicked when they were full our first day. 3. The game room sofa flakes and is a little old.
