They had no eggs or sausage or bacon for breakfast. Carpeting looks like it hasn't been shampooed and years. I got accused of something I didn't do and then I got banned. The pool was supposedly under maintenance, but didn't look like it has ever been worked on. At times they only had one person doing housekeeping/ laundry.

Wish I could give negative stars. This place is absolutely awful. Dirty, broken mess. My daughter stayed there and the reviews are absolutely made up. The place is filthy. There was mouse droppings, shower was broken, cigarette burns, just gross. She was told they’ve only been open for 5 days. WTH! I contacted expedia and tried to call the place but no one ever answers. Oh and the “breakfast “ nope! There is none

The bathroom door wouldn’t shut (no longer aligned properly or something). The bathroom fan which automatically turned on with the light switch sounded like it was going to blow up. My husband found cockroaches in the AC control box when he went to turn it on. The mattresses were comfortable enough, but I were covered in plastic bags that make a loud crinkling noise any time someone moved, like the sound of a tarp being bunched up. My son had a very restless sleep, so this was an annoyance all night. Hotel was dirty. Continental breakfast was basically nothing. We booked this for $60 on Expedia, but they did not have our Expedia reservation and they charged us twice that. It was maybe tolerable for $60, but definitely not $125. THE STAFF WAS GREAT THOUGH!

I had a horrid stay.. first didn't get the room I reserved the room I got was full of bed bugs not cleaned at all things broken hole in wall stained carpeting had to go in middle of night to ask for toilet paper got no sleep.. I have pics and video.. when I checked out I gave the guy a cup with bed bugs in it told him all the problems over all said next time request 2nd floor it's much cleaner n cracked a joke... Didn't offer a refund or anything... Also he said they don't charge a deposit for 1 night stays but earlier in the week I also stayed 1 night and was charged a $75.00 deposit and still have not been returned that to my card.... I have never been so angry and disgusted by this type of situation ever in my life... Nobody should ever have to experience that..

Well first of all we were given the wrong room not once but two times. So not only did we walk in on one people in one room it happened to but intruding two separate people in two rooms. I was like really REALLY ! AHHH ! BUT on the 3rd try she finally got it right ! Also the room cost 50.00$ online but when I got there I was charged for $75 cash fee extra because something might happen to the room. So I paid the fee. Really I thought. Also I asked for extra towels so I could take a shower right away and the take one in to morning. The lady said they don't do things like that.Then we got in to the room oh boy this place is run down the bed had a whole bunch of trash under it. The bed posts had fabric chipping off it every where. The tv didn't work and the water for the shower took forever to heat up. Just a very run down place. The only plus side was the bed it was soft. I would say enter at your own risk oh yeah they don't have a pool like it was listed it's under construction they have different plans for it now so basically they probably won't even have a pool or don't have one.

I stayed 7 nights and my room was not cleaned even once. Please see photos. A/C was not on in the main area. If you are expecting a good breakfast---please choose another place.

I HAD CALLED PREVIOUS NIGHT TO RECONFIRM MY RESERVATION WITH HOTEL AND INFORM THEM WE WERE COMING IN AROUND MIDNIGHT, EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER MIDNIGHT, HOWEVER THAT DID NOT DO US ANY GOOD. WE DIDN'T EAT OR STAY SINCE THE FRONT DESK ATTENDANT SAID IT WAS SOLD OUT, & OUR EXPEDIA RESERVATIONS WERE OBVIOUSLY SOLD FOR MORE MONEY TO OTHER FOLKS. NO RECORD OF MY EXPEDIA RESERVATION WHEN THEY HAD IT DAY BEFORE TO CONFIRM US COMING IN. FRONT DESK PERSON BAD MOUTHED EXPEDIA LIKE IT WAS ALL EXPEDIA'S FAULT, FRONT DESK ATTENDANT WAS CANCELLING ANYONE THEY COULD FROM DISCOUNT HOTEL THIRD PARTY VENDORS FOR MORE MONEY. A DIRTY ROTTEN TRICK TO BE PULLED ON US AT 12:30 AM IN THE MORNING WITH NO PLACE TO GO LIKE THE OTHER 7-PEOPLE IN THE HOTEL LOBBY. ALL HOTELS IN AREA WERE COMPLETELY SOLD OUT BECAUSE OF THE EAA AIR SHOW IN OSHKOSH, WI. YOU NEED TO REMOVE THEM FROM YOUR HOTEL LISTINGS IN APPLETON, WI ASAP!

Extremely poor cleaning. The room which we assigned to was missing shower tap and shower sprinkler was not working either. Linens had extremely bad unclean smell to it. I traveled with my wife and 2 months old daughter. Even though place is cheaper compared to other hotels I would still not recommend staying at this to anyone. Our booking was through expedia for 1 King Bed Non-Smoking bedroom but we were only assigned to queen bed bedroom and I would not consider this place non-smoking at all. The entire place smells like Cigarette. I generally do not write reviews but for this one I felt like doing so. I hope whoever decides to stay at this place read my feedback and decide accordingly.

Literally police there every day we were staying there. It was nice and quiet. Whole place smells like smoke. Pool is closed. Honestly not worth the money.

Food on the floor at the main entry door. Hallway carpet smelled like smoke. Got to our room and it had not yet been serviced. Decided not to stay there. Did not get a refund.

Our room left a lot to be desired. My wife took off her sandals and put her bare feet on the floor. She said that the carpet felt sticky. My soxes were white when I walked in the room. The only time in our 2 day stay were I took off my shoes was while I was in the room. After 2 evenings in the room, they turned almost black on the bottoms, due to the dirt on the floor/carpet. When Housekeeping "cleaned" the room before we arrived, the room was half done. There was no toilet paper or kleenex. We had 3 registered guests in our party, yet there as only one bath towel, hand towel, and no washcloth. There were complimentary coffee grounds and cups but no cream/sugar for it. There were no plastic drinking cups and no ice bucket. About 11 PM and again at 2 or 3 AM on the first night, we were woken up by someone hammering in one of the adjacent rooms for 15-20 minutes. The next morning I saw a cart with replacement flooring on it in front of the next room over. The hammering the night before sounded exactly like they were hammering pieces of interlocking flooring into place. We normally would not stay at a hotel with the low ratings this one has. However, due to EAA, it was the only one that had any availability within 30 miles of Appleton. My wife was scheduled for Surgery at Thedacare early on Tuesday morning. They wanted her there at 5:30 AM. We live over one hour away. We will not return to the Holiday Lodge.

Dirty bedding sheets, food crumbs from previous vacationers on floor, didn't even have towels for 2 guests. Glad I didn't have to be here long, but it was one of the only hotels that had rooms available when we were booking for the Oshkosh airshow

The sheets and pillow cases were stained and smelled like smoke, although all the rooms were non-smoking and no pets. They had full-time residents that look like homeless people with pets. Every time I left the hotel I had to go back by the desk and get my card reprogrammed in order to enter the hotel or enter my room. The second day I noticed an employee spraying roach killer in the hallway and the carpet was saturated with chemicals. The bathtub had a ring around it where it hadn't been cleaned. Also witnessed several small drug transactions out my window two of which were employees that were full-time residents. I was constantly being woken by slamming doors and people yelling in the hallway. The carpet leading up the stairways was filthy and the carpet in the rooms for normal traffic areas was terrible. I retired from the military and I've spent many a night in cold damp dirty places I would have much rather have been under a tree out in the woods than to stay in this Motel. Upon checking out at 3:00 a.m. the attendant was asleep in a recliner in the lobby, after I woke him he had a hard time standing like he was intoxicated. The hotel required a $75 deposit when you checked in I handed them $100 bill and they didn't have any change so they held my hundred until check out. The hotel staff member didn't go and look at the room and refuse to give me my $100 deposit. He called the owners they said they'd never received a deposit. After I showed my A I GOT A REFUND

This is not a new or even renovated property . The rooms are not clean - very old stained everything . Night manager sitting at a sofa no shoes on using his phone. Maintenance man wandering around with his ankle tracking device in plain site. This did not make me feel comfortable

Breakfast is a joke nothing to serve. Staff didn’t seem to care all night long. The facility was loud and combative. The new owners don’t seem to have a hospitality mentality to make this an enjoyable place.
