Bad bad experience

I think I made one of the biggest mistake while selecting this resort for my family stay. Until now, this is my worst experience of staying in any resort in Indonesia. Hotel is quite big, but they have not maintained it for guests. The big spider webs and big spiders which we see in movies are actually available in this hotel. They have lack of staff, those who are working there are not able to manage this much size of hotel. Only one lift was operational to manage 200 rooms from 2nd to 9th floor. The room amenities was pathetic. We ourself changed the bedsheet and it was a disaster to use the dirty bedsheets. AC was not working. I think we wasted our money here and because we actually tried to move to some other hotel but we didn’t got rooms available. I strongly request hotel management to look into this otherwise they will lose customers.

The Marbella Fast as rust, the humid decay, smoldering in defeat, beneath my bare feet, the fusty smell, rising in the heat, blurring the streets, down hallways and corridors, the mildew reeks, the fire and sun, heat beats the rhythm, solar flare warm in the sea. Crescively swollen wood halls, stale buildings crumbling, house to posts, wires crawl, geckos white on tiles froze, stairwells, browned and bronze, red burrs clinging to the rails, loyal comers wise to the details, finding a new freedom, only you can believe in, secrets rumor the tales. Antique tarnished painted pink, Roots, beliefs, colors batik unique, vintage old paintings screaming, from the walls to your mind teeming, the mistress of the dinette, laughing and smiling, composed of few words, simple, rehearsed, beguiling. The spirit of the ocean, living in our dreams, between here and there, amid them and me, spread evenly, sharing everything in waves the brightness reflecting. Far way home beyond dreaming skies, in deep volcanic rock seas, living in the future, parallel reality, rejoining the water front scene

Nice Location, Needs Improvements/Upgrades

The Hotel is located nicely on the beach, and has nice outdoor sports facilities such as a swimming pool and tennis courts. There are lots of local stores and restaurants around the area to shop and dine in at reasonable prices Sadly, the buildings are in bad need of repainting, as mold and mildew could be seen in several places. The elevator buttons had the numbers scratched off them, and the lobby floor wasn't clearly marked The Studio Room over all has a nice feel to it: bright, big. However, the following issues need to addressed: 1) Toilet wasn't working properly. The water reservoir wasn't closing off during refilling. This meant that the water had to be shut off to stop the water flowing noisily, making it hard to sleep at night The water then had to be turned on to flush the toilet, using the water gun/hose 2) The bathtub had rust and damage to it 3) The shower knobs were loose 4) the bed mattress needs to be replaced. It is clearly an old mattress, making is hard to sleep comfortably. 5) Wifi kept going down. Mobile data reception was weak in the area, meaning that loss of the Wifi was even more of a problem If it wasn't for the very low price of the room and the friendliness of the staff, I would have rated this stay lower. Management has some to do if they ant to increase business to the property

Hotel yang sudah kurang perawatan

MArbella yang sekarang sudah berbeda dengan beberapa tahun yang lalu. KOndisi hotel ini perlu diperhatikan karena kurang perawatannya, interior nya sudah banyak kerusakan dan kotor. Fasilitas juga kurang perawatan kecuali kolam renang yang masih lumayan.

Good location, above average standard

After changing rooms to a ground floor suite with external access to pool and close to beach the mood was happier and we enjoyed the stay. It's a big hotel and some rooms will involve a lengthy walk to common areas. The rooms were quiet but the decor is dated and all rooms could do with refurbishment. Pillows, bed sheets and towels also look overdue for replacement. However the property is nicely located with the resort grounds fronting onto a large stretch of beach where waves roll in, and locals at beach stalls provide cheap eats, sell small items, and arrange recreational activities. The beach promenade area also afforded great views at sunset. The buffet meals were more than adequate without being lush. Plenty of parking available, and a small convenience store located on site for those little extras including a small selection of preferred beverages. The service staff were friendly enough but overall the level of service is not going to take any awards. The place is popular for families and groups which lends some life to the place. Overall with the hotels.com discount it was good value for a large resort and provided a relaxing few days stay. I would certainly consider staying there again.

더럽고 불청결한 호텔

안예르에서 규모로는 top3안에 드는 호텔임. 규모가 크다보니 객실 청결도 및 서비스에서 관리가 매우 부족함 객실에서는 곰팡이냄세가 진동을하고 바퀴벌레, 모기 같은 해충도 많음 호텔 옆에 바로 해변이 있고, 넓은 수영장은 매력요소이나 숙박시설 자체는 최악중에 최악임

Literally Falling Apart

I had two days to kill and this seemed to be the best hotel on the west coast of Java to get out of polluted Jakarta. This hotel, originally built by the Spanish Melia group, was probably beautiful once, but is now literally falling apart and in severe decline. I witnessed the outside hallway ceiling collapse onto the floor due to A/C condensate draining into the ceiling area. It continued to drain into the floor with no intervention by staff. I noticed this was happening in several areas. The customers now are primarily Jakarta locals visiting overnight On weekends. I was the only westerner for the whole weekend. Wifi performance was terrible - no bandwidth so it was useless when more than a few customers were online, and had to enter a complicated username and password every time I opened my phone or laptop. The electronic door keys had to be reset for me three times in two days. The door lock broke so I couldn't leave the room unattended for an afternoon until it was fixed. The bleach in front of the hotel is completely lined with shacks selling all manner of food and other junk and the beach is quite dirty The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, but anything involving technology seemed to be problematic. Food was ok, drinks expensive.
