Dated but sufficient

Toilet was not cleaned when we got there. TV room sofa was worn and not very comfortable. The two chairs were okay. Bed was clean and comfy but a little low for us old folks. Only two smallish pillows two more would have been nice. It's not the managers fault but the road in front of the apt was being reconstructed and the construction noise was everyday except Sunday and they started at 0700. Knowing would not have changed anything but our experience was not very relaxing. The outdoor space was not swept at all and we had no desire to use it. Some trim in the kitchen above the dishwasher fell off when I brushed against it. Trim on the wall in the TV room seemed to be peeling off. Overall It needed some small repairs to make it look more like the photos we saw. The location is convenient to many restaurants and shopping as well as well as being close the Antwerp Central station. The access is secure and we did feel safe.Overall we found it adequate for our relatively short stay in Antwerp but we could not justify 5 stars for the reasons listed above.

Great location

Two months at this apartment - nice and great location. It could have been cleaner. There was a broken lamp on the floor - the toilet had build up - the kitchen floor was dirty and the place was dusty. The sofa is comfortable but its appearance is nasty. I purchased a sheet to cover it. Not happy with only one set of sheets for 2 months - also one set of keys - the garbage “Restfall” bags need to be provided and explained since there’s no dumpster. Also there’s only 2 forks in the kitchen. Don’t get me wrong - the apartment is nice - the owners need to find a better cleaner. Also the cover for the ironing board is shot. I purchased a cutting board because the one in apartment has stains - chef knife because the ones are dull and frying pan - the apartments is warped. The apartment just needs some touching up. Ps. This is my 5th extended vacation in Europe. I’ve stayed at better. Oh the Afghan restaurant is AMAZING!!!!

Great space, great location

The flat feels very spacious with all the windows and light. It is a short walk to restaurants, bars, museums and galleries. It is on a main street, so there is some traffic and bright lights outside. I am a light sleeper and I thought this would bother me more, but it didn't. The kitchen is well equipped--I found everything I needed, although there is no microwave. I would book it again.
