  • Villa Michelle provides a perfect retreat with excellent facilities. Relax and enjoy the tranquillity and peaceful surroundings our villa offers, with no neighbours total privacy is assured. Fully air conditioned throughout. The villa has the rare benefit of an indoor pool with jacuzzi, which can be heated in the early or late season. The stunning outside pool and (9mx3m) adds the final touch of luxury to this superlative property. From the totally private pool terrace guests can enjoy the magnificent mountain view.
    It is ideal for couples wishing for a relaxing holiday away from the outside world, although there is wifi if you wish to let the outside world in!
    Our location is set in the rural village of Uzumlu, here you will see the real rural Turkish village culture and it's such a magical charm, but just a short drive away from lively Kalkan. Relax and unwind in this secret retreat. Our villa is set in beautiful Mediterranean garden of grape vines, olives, pomegranate and fig trees. For guests looking for total privacy our pool area is totally secluded. Staying at Villa Michelle can be any holiday you want it to be.
    We also own Villa Meryem (2 bedrooms villa with private pool) 50 m away from villa Michelle. It s ideal for a family group or group of friends. If you wish to book both villas for your group let us know.
    If sightseeing and exploring and discovery is your thing there are so many tourist attraction to visit within easy reach of villa Michelle. Uzumlu is very popular for walking groups because part of Lycian way pass close by. If you fancy a day at beach there are three to choose from all within a 15 to 20 minutes drive away.
    There are 4 family run restaurants in the village approx. 15 minutes walk from villa offering eat in or takeaway (takeaway menus are available in villa). You can also treat yourself to a spectacular Turkish breakfast in the village, you won't need to eat for the rest of the day! Local shops for all your essential are also in the village, which can be delivered to the villa.
    Kalkan offers an abundance of superb restaurants and sophisticated nightlife.
    From the end of September until mid-May the cost of heating the indoor pool is included in the price, if heating of the indoor pool is required during the summer months there will be an additional daily cost.

A very nice place hidden between olive trees

We stayed in the villa for 2 weeks in September. It was a very pleasant stay, located on a mountain slope, completely hidden between olive trees. The house was cozy and beautifully decorated. Yosuf the owner was very helpful. The house was cleaned once a week with clean bed linen and towels. The area was wonderfully quiet. During my walks I thoroughly enjoyed the classic way of life, the figs and grapes. The people were very nice.

Yusuf was a great owner and checked we had everything we needed and kept the pool area clean everyday. The villa has lovely rooms with really nice bathroom and bedroom and an in door whirlpool off the bedroom which was great when it was so hot outside to cool off in the bubbles. The villa is in an amazing spot so peaceful and private. Great bird spots including Bee-eaters and buzzards even a resident red squirrel!You do need a car to access the rest of the area which is beautiful too, especially recommended by Yusuf was the Saklikent Gorge and Patara ruins. Although we did walk from the Villa to access the Lycian Way for a 7 mile hike which had fantastic views over the whole of the Kalkan area. All in all a fabulous holiday would recommend for this that want to get away from the main tourist area and sample real Turkey.

We absolutely loved the villa, the pool was amazingly refreshing on a hot day. We hired the villa and the kissing said we were staying in kas. This wasn't quite correct. It was in uzumlu, which is very remote. It's actually closer to Kalkan. This didn't hamper our enjoyment though, as it was seclusion we were looking for. I would maybe advise a car hire though. We can't speak highly enough of Yusuf, who was very attentive and always replied to any queries we had. We intend to come back in a couple of years and would 100% stay here again.
