I would not recommend staying here. We paid nearly £200 per night for what was advertised as a four-star hotel, but the experience was extremely disappointing. The biggest issue is that when you book La Boutique Hotel, you are actually placed in a separate adjacent building, which is nowhere near the standard of the main hotel building shown in the pictures online. This feels very misleading.
The room itself was poorly maintained — it was not cleaned before our arrival (the bin was full and smelled), and across a 5-day stay, housekeeping only came once. We had no clean towels for three days, ran out of toilet paper twice, and every request for basic essentials had to be made in person at reception. Even then, staff only gave enough for two people when our booking was for three. Blankets, bedding, cups, and crockery were all provided for two people only. The TV didn’t work, and one blind was broken until day 2.
Communication with staff was very difficult as very few spoke English, and whenever we asked for help, the standard response was that there were no staff available and to “wait until the morning.” This left us with no immediate assistance.
Breakfast was average at best — food was not replenished well, and we often felt ignored by the waiting staff, who noticeably prioritised other guests while failing to acknowledge us.
For the price we paid, this hotel was far below expectations and did not deliver the quality or service advertised.
