  • Casa do Becco es una gran sala de estar, con 283m2, distribuidos en 3 plantas y con 4 habitaciones preparadas para recibir a 7 huéspedes, con la mayor comodidad y armonía.
    Ubicada en el área clasificada por la UNESCO como patrimonio de la humanidad en 1983, esta casa, construida hace más de 300 años, fue adquirida en 2006 y completamente rehabilitada / remodelada en 2008, un proyecto ejecutado y supervisado por el anfitrión, un arquitecto de profesión.
    También hay un gran jardín, con una superficie de 2.500 m2, que tiene una vista absolutamente impresionante sobre el centro histórico y el océano, ¡realmente una visita obligada!
    También tenemos diferentes actividades a su disposición: paseos a caballo, yoga en la naturaleza, masajes, observación de aves y senderos para caminar.

Quick trip to Terçeira

The property was great. The location was amazing, with great views and lots of room for parking. The hosts were responsive with any questions, and had recommendations for sites and cuisine to check out.

The property is beautiful and a great location. The hosts Elisa and Jorge go out of their way to accommodate you, and give you helpful information. Highly recommended staying here!!!

Great Stay!

A few colleagues stayed here for a company retreat and had a wonderful time. Jorge was very easy to get in touch with and accommodating if we needed anything. Comfortable and clean! Would stay again.

This cute old house served us just right for a three night stay. Extremely accommodating and responsive hosts. Space for 6 adults. Great parking. A ten minute walk to town center but be ready for good hill climbing walking when you visit Angra

Amazing Hosts!

The home was plenty big enough for our family of 5. Conveniently located close enough to the city center so that we could walk. Jorge and Elisa were available to us via text the entire time of our stay. They arranged dinner reservations when needed and checked in on us to make sure our stay was perfect. Jorge and Elisa started out as our VRBO hosts but now feel like family. We can hardly wait to go back!

Angra Delight!

This spacious newly remodeled home has it all! The home sits in a perfect location-close to town but also on a little hill offering privacy and a view to the ocean. The house has all the amenities one can ask-dish washer, washer, dryer, full kitchen with large refrigerator. As if the home does not offer enough, the owners provide their guests with local pastries, fresh flowers, fresh fruit, milk, tea, and wine-so good! Our family (party of 6) was honored to stay in such a lovely and historical home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa do Becco. There were 5 of us (including two couples), and we were very comfortable in the three upstairs bedrooms. We enjoyed spending time at the picnic table pictured in the listing, with a breathtaking panoramic view of the bay, downtown, and Monte Brasil. We made friends with the brown cow in the pasture below. Be prepared for a steep climb back to the house from downtown. It's totally worth it for the view from the hilltop. Owner Jorge was kind, friendly, communicative, responsive, and generous with tips and recommendations for where to go, what to do, where to eat, where to swim, etc. The island of Terceira exceeded our expectations. We hope to return! Photo of the view from the pop-up skylight in the primary bedroom (with king bed and ensuite bathroom).

Close to town and the marina

We stayed for 6 nights during the Sanjoaninas, it was awesome. It was lively until 4:00 a.m. but it did not bother us a bit. You could walk to get something to eat and shop. Great parking area, we had two vehicles. Easy to get to and from! Large enough to spread out and be comfortable. We had seven in our group. The third shower would have been nice, but it wasn't totally functioning yet, but at least we had a sink and toilet down stairs and once the shower is complete that will be nice for down stairs access. Three of the beds are twins, the down stairs bedroom is a twin, and one of the upstairs bedrooms has twin beds. It would have been nice to have at least one of those rooms have a queen, but our group was fine with sleeping solo for a few nights in that room. We would most definitely stay here again, it is clean, convenient and large. The outdoor space is amazing and the view from it is spectacular!

Spacious home with a view!

This house was so very spacious for our family which included 5 adults & 2 grown teenagers! We loved the architectural design of combining current design/features with a 350 year old home. The dining room as well as the table was large enough for all of us to sit at & the chairs are very comfortable. The couches are comfortable as well & a bit low for you tall folks! The bedrooms had lots of storage room & were roomy. Beds were a bit hard for us but may be just perfect for other folks. There are 2 full bathrooms are upstairs. One you must go through the master bedroom to get to & the other is in the hallway. The bathroom downstairs had a bath/shower combo but was not functional. Home had lots of windows & full window/doors in the front room that gave us a nice breeze & various views which included our favorite neighborhood bar across the street. The view from the skylight in the master bedroom is a beautiful sight to see each day for sure but the real beauty is in the well maintained huge garden area. OMG!!! The view of the ocean, Angra & various historical sights was incredible & very peaceful! We spent a lot of time out there taking in the view. You are within walking distance to a few famous sights & grocery stores but note, very hilly. Elisa & Jorge were always quick to communicate & provided many site seeing suggestions. Lots of maps & pamphlets handy on the bookshelves. We really enjoyed our stay & appreciate Elisa & Jorge sharing their home with us💕

historic accommodation!

We loved the size and decor of the house and the keeping of the old design with the new. The balcony windows off the living room felt very European!

Location + Nicest People

What an amazing location in the heart of Angra, just a short walk to the main square and also the church. But also just up the drive is a lovely garden with the most amazing views of the bay! Also spotted horses and cows in the neighboring gardens. Jorge and our host Rui were so insanely nice and accommodating! Even when my flight got messed up and part of our group showed up about 6 hours early they not only made sure the property was ready but also helped arrange a ride for us! They were readily available and helpful with any questions we had! The only thing I would say is the bed situation didn’t work the best for our group as we were three couples. It is really well set up for families with children! But we were fully aware of that going in from the listing and were willing to roll with it since the location and overall size were just so great!
