This spacious condo in Girdwood is the perfect home base for your Alyeska escape, offering easy access to skiing, hiking, and a dog-friendly attitude.

Located a short walk from the chairlifts, this condo has easy access to world-class skiing, scenic summer tram rides, and fine dining near Alyeska Resort. There is wonderful hiking nearby in Chugach National Forest, cycling on nearby bike paths, and Virgin Creek Waterfalls about one mile away.

This ground-floor condo has basic cable TV with a DVD player, a fully equipped kitchen for making delicious meals, and a deck for taking advantage of the exceptional summer weather. Your dogs are also welcome for a small, nightly fee.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

It was okay for a place to sleep at night and the kitchen was adequate for cooking meals. I don't know how people stay for ski trips to do much laundry with the extra small washer and dryer. The patio vertical blinds were missing several slats as well as the kitchen blinds so it didn't feel very private in the living area. The bedroom and bathroom were nice.

stayed two nights

It's a great place to stay. well set up. only two comments. the tenant's upstairs were noisy till the early hours of the morning and the "sharp" knife was very blunt. My wife made a lovely roast, but we couldn't carve it due to a very blunt knife and nothing to sharpen it with.

Good Time At Girdwood

The facility was a great fit for our needs and conveniently located for all things we wanted to do on the Kenai peninsula, Talkeetna, Palmer, and Anchorage areas.

Clean, convenient, comfortable apartment

Loved our stay here. It's so close to everything, safe neighborhood, and the place was comfortable and clean. There was a hiccup with the wifi but they property management sent someone over to get it fixed right away. Would stay here again.

The property was clean. There was very little furniture and no TV. The wifi connection was iffy. They need to seriously take a look at the heater - weird noise like a part going bad.

Great value, full kitchen, appliances, multiple beds, shower/tub, fireplace, fire pit, Netflix, DVD, wifi, everything you need.

There was a large list of items not working well or broken entirely. I brought this to the attention of management. They said they couldn’t fix it. I then asked for someone to call me twice before I got an email response with an $84 credit. Still no call and it has been a week. This place cost me $268/night… I expected more. List of broken items on the property: Oven lights broken (couldn’t see temp to cook) Oven fan broken No screens on doors to vent air Lights didn’t work in hallway No handle on sliding door to back patio Blinds on sliding door were hard to operate Washer is very loud - dryer doesn’t work well (small loads only) The curtains were white and it was only dark 4-5 hours/night when we were there

Girdwood Getaway

Easy access, good location, well equipped kitchen. Nearby Girdwood Brewery, and nearby live music in he evening at Jack Sprat. Both within walking distance, although watch for wildlife. Waterfalls and hiking areas in proximity were beautiful.

The property is part of a fourplex and a grouping of fourplexes. It is a basic property. Great for sleeping in. I'm guessing because it's at a ski resort they tried to fit as many beds as they can into the room. There is a queen twin bunk bed with extremely hard mattresses and a cot with an extremely soft mattress. It's nothing to write home to Mom about but it served its purpose well giving us a reasonably priced place to stay in alyeska.
