Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Good location, the room needs some TLC. Pans need replacing, carpet is worn, Mattress is hard, toilet is hard to flush, tub takes awhile to drain. TV and Wifi was excellent. View on backside is awesome.

The condo had a lovely view of the mountain out the back door. It was in a great location within walking distance or short driving distance to restaurants and attractions. Condo was very clean and comfortable, but needs some upgrading in terms of aesthetics and lighting.

Quiet spot in a convenient location

We wanted to stay somewhere close to Anchorage the night before our flight out and this spot worked well. It was pretty basic but had everything we needed- beds, bathroom, and some standard kitchen amenities. It was nice to stay somewhere quiet and away from the bustle of the city but still close enough to get to the airport in a timely manner.The property was dated, but the linens were clean and beds comfortable, if a little cramped. (The two twin beds were a single bed with trundle.)There were a lot of great restaurant options in the area, and if we were there for more than a night we’d have enjoyed exploring the shops.The only issue we encountered was the check-in process which involved accessing the keys via a lock box. The box was jammed and we spent about 10 minutes trying to get it to work. Finally got the keys out, but had the same issue getting it to close when we checked out and put the keys back.

Nice appartment, good location

Nice sized efficiency with full kitchen, queen bed plus extra bed with trundle. Large parking lot. Condo unit is at base of ski slope, with small patio. Total priva y in back. Good curtains for s reening daylight. Ground floor of 3 story building has bakery and gift shop. Within 5 minute drive are restaurants and grocery store. Trails nearby. Can't get microwave to start. Lockbox won't close.

Excellent location with beautiful views. The room was super clean. I didn’t love that there’s only dinky knob locks on the doors. A deadbolt at least would have been nice. The queen bed is rock hard, but the twin mattress was okay.

Girwood Stay

The first thing is that the listing does not do a very good job of telling you were the key is to pick up. I tried multiple doors and some lady saw me looking and told me where the keys were. When we tried the second floor door the key did not work. We had to drag everything back downstairs to the first floor door and then drag everything back up to the 2nd floor. When we got to the room finally it was not as it looked in the listing. We were disappointed in the outdatedness of the room. It looks much better in the listing. The pillows on the bed were VERY thin and did not provide much. The overall appearance and feel of the room was needing updated. Not that we need totally nice but it looked rough. I expected more based off the listing!

Location was fine but condo building old and the condo itself outdated with out beds, kitchen table/chairs and decor on the walls. I just expected better as a Vacasa property. I would NEVER stay here again. THE PHOTO YOU HAVE ATTACHED IS NOT THE CONDO WE STAYED IN. IT DID NOT LOOK AT ALL LIKE THIS!!

Nice comfortable place

Place was very well organized and clean. Great location. A couple of housekeeping suggestions, the bath tub doesnt drain very well and the chairs on the deck were in need of replacement. Everything else was very comfortable including the bed.

Fit our needs

Our room was clean and neat. It met our needs for a short 2 day stay. We rode the Alaska Rail Road from Girdwood to Seward and back so it was an ideal lodging place for us. We cooked our own meals and would comment that the frying pans were very grungy and should be replaced. If you are a coffee drinker bring your own mug(s). There are lots of glasses but no mugs for hot drinks. We would highly suggest that the owner get a rubber no slip mat for the bath tub as the tub is very slippery. Also if you prefer using bar soap for bathing bring your own. Only one small tube of body wash was provided. The kitchen could benefit from having a ceiling light installed as lighting is pretty minimal in that area. Lots of towels, face cloths and hand towels were provided.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Perfect location next to the lifts with everything you need in the condo. The surrounding food and bar options were a plus.

Confusing

This property was hard to locate. The description was to find the key but we understood it to be the location of the room. A call did clear that up. None of the restaurants were open the days we were there. That would have been helpful to know ahead of time. The room was ok. The only thing they really need to do is put some decent pillows on the bed. They were very flat.
