We appreciated the location and all of the amenities to help us on our quick stay. We couldn’t find sheets for the pull out couch. The parking lot and check in directions could be a little more clear since there are so many lots and lock boxes. Plenty of pillows and towels were nice!

Outdated and needs maintenance

This property is in desperate need of some upgrades and maintenance, and the photos don't accurately show what you will get. The kitchen and bathroom are nice and upgraded, but the living room blinds were disfuncional, the pull out couch was old and very uncomfortable, and there aren't enough seats for a group of 4 to hang out together. It seems like they updated the kitchen and bathroom for the photos, and ignored the sleeping spaces, which need some updates. A carpet cleaning, new couch and blinds and a refresh of the bedroom would make a big difference to future guests' overall comfort.

Not as good as expected

The location (town, hikes, people, full time residents) was breath taking, magnificent, friendly and worth the hastle. Lots of nuisance, no clean blankets/sheets that took all afternoon of contacting VACASA and giving ultimatum to finally get someone to bring clean linens, dirty towels (blood and other things don'teven want to list) I was told by one of the reps 'oh that is an easy fix, you can wash them since there is a washer drier', parking lot is not easy to find- look for bakeshop sign, same for their dumpster-- which is in town and not clearly marked. But that is lack of professionalism and poor management. The big issue with the apartment though, which is on the owner is the lack of ventilation, the mold and the hole in the bedroom ceiling with pipe sticking from it from unrepaired water/moisture damage. Giving it a 3 star, as mentioned above just because of location and the people we met, friends we made.

We did not find the instructions on how to get to the property helpful. Once we figured out how to get there, however, all went well. Very spacious.

It may be right by the ski lift however the condo itself needs some repair. Some lights did not work(on the stove) etc., a chair had armrest that needed to be mended, the blinds in the livingroom were totally inoperable, with broken slats and cord, and the window really needed to be washed. The ceiling in the bedroom, in the corner, looked like it had water damage a few years back and was not addressed very well. The washing machine and dryer were nice to have and there was plenty of cook ware.

Great location, needs updating

Very conveniently located right next to the ski lifts and close to amenities of Girdwood. The place is in need of a replacement carpet (stained) and the bedroom ceiling and bathroom skirting board needs work due to what looks like mold damage. Key pickup instructions could make it clearer that the lockbox is directly outside the actual condo as opposed to one of the many lockboxes outside the building itself. Garbage dropoff instructions were not accurate, referenced a dumpster which did not exist. H

Perfect location in Girdwood

Walking distance to the bakeshop and trailheads. We liked the forested view from the entry. The condo is basic but has what you need. Note that at the time of our stay the rental did not provide wifi.

Nice basic, roomy space. Only 3 local channels and dvs player so bring dvds or a laptop with pre-downloaded content (no internet), or a nice book to read for those down times. King size bed was very soft and occupants rolled to the middle. Kitchen has coffee maker (bring grounds, filters available), toaster, microwave, crock pot, full-function stove/oven and full-size fridge/freezer.

While this property is within walking distance to restaurants, and hiking trails it had black mold in the window sills and shower door and bathroom baseboards. Furniture in bad shape and mice. Has TVs but no internet or cable

The smell lingered on our clothes when we left

This property at Alyeska North needs a total remodel. We arrived to a strong odor used to mask the smoke and pet odor. The floors were visibly and plentifully stained, 4 of the chairs had chair legs so loose we were afraid to sit in them. The cloth chair although not ripped in the online ad had a big tear in it. Blinds damaged. Pet damage and/or mold and water damage on living room windows and bath trim. No wi-fi, no internet. Checked for bed bugs because of the look of the property, but didn't find any. Some items under the bed and couch. Thankfully there was a cancellation at another place in town that I found and when I brought that up to the property manager, was able to move over to a clean and well taken care of unit.They were helpful in getting us over there.

No towels

There were no towels spin arrival. Thankfully we were up for a family wedding so my nephew provided us with towels. The office is right there but went over several times and no one was there. So just sucked it up and used and returned my nephews towels to him! Plenty of wash clothes lol
