"The hotel is in a great location to walk along the river and up to the castle. There are lots of restaurants and shops in the area and an amazing cocktail bar across the street called Atelier. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. "

"We absolutely loved our stay! The room was spotless and had little closets to hang our clothes, the hotel staff were super friendly and extra helpful, and the view from our terrace was stunning. A short walk to the train station and a grocery market near by just gave us everything we were looking for during our stay in the Burner Oberland area. Thank you!"

"Very small and outdated but overall ok"

"Very nice quiet location it at the same time close to everything. The river view room was much smaller than we expected but excellent view. We even watched people jumping off the bridge. The self laundry facility was an added bonus. But the staff are not quite familiar with buses allowed on the guest card. We were kicked off 106 and told 102-104 are the only valid buses. Something to be verified before j make plans."

"Loved this hotel! Staff were very friendly, location was perfectly in the middle of the locations we were going to. Bus stops right in front of the restaurant attached to the hotel, and this same bus goes straight to the train station so public transportation is convenient. Despite not adding the breakfast option, coffee, tea, water, and umbrellas were available to all guests. Thank you for an awesome stay!"

"The hotel is well mantained, very clean and rooms are antique but chic. It match very well with the area and is located in a hill overlooking the town and the mountains. The service was great! I hope I can go back in the future. "

"Parking is in a city around 1000 meters below Mürren. You have to 10 CHF for parking per day as well as 23.40 CHF round trip to use the Gondola unles you want to commit to a 3 hour hike. After you take the Gondola then hotel is only. 1/4 mile walk up hill to the Grand Palace. Hotel also had no A/C. The hotel itself is beautiful with friendly staff and a gorgeous view of the alps. "

"Fantastic boutique hotel. Service was amazing. All the girls were so helpful but huge thank you to Victoria. We stayed in room with a balcony and although the room was small we didn’t care as having a balcony with an incredible view was way more important to us. The hotel was very central. Close to both train stations and main walking and shopping area and right down the street was the best pizza. We brought it back to our room and sat on the balcony. I have nothing bad to say. "We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The hotel is extremely well located right in the center of Bern close to the train station so transportation was easy. We had excellent service from Vera at the front desk. She was extremely friendly and went out of her way to tell us everything we needed to know right down to how to swim in the river safely. There are many special touches to the hotel lobby, including a great gathering space and even a free welcome drink. Loved our stay."

" Beautiful view from our room, This is a dated hotel, in a very beautiful spot. Has a nice pool, no hot tub, Sauna available upon request with 1 hour reservation. In our room it was a slight challenge to get in and out of the large tub to shower. Not ideal but it worked. Large windows and door that opened to a small deck. "
