"Charming motel and nice grounds. Room very basic but clean and comfortable. Staff were great. Food truck had very tasty options. It was nice to grab our supper from the truck along with a couple beers from the bar and hang out on the deck. We will stay here again when back in the area."

Just a couple of issues, baby mothes throughout, back burner is burnt out on stove, light bulb was burned out upstairs, and overall the decor feels dated except for the new sofa. "This hotel is nice and in a beautiful location. It is close to Main Street Blowing Rock with its many shops and restaurants. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was closed for renovations which we did not know when we booked. That was a disappointment. If you like to travel with your dog, this is the place for you."
