There were mattresses stacked on a trailer and a few people milling around in the parking lot that gave it the appearance of an abandoned property. I am in the process of requesting a refund because I did not feel safe staying there and chose to go somewhere more appealing and safe looking."

"My hotel room was never cleaned, even though I went to the desk to ask about it. The room was humid and damp, and on the first floor. Even with the shade pulled completely down, you could see right through my window and the outside dusk to dawn light shown in through my room, illuminating it all night long anyone passing by my room outside could easily see inside to where I was sleeping. Not great."

"We needed a place last minute to stay in the Boone area on the 4th and this was the only “affordable” option with our dog. It was over 200 a night for our smaller room but that’s to be expected during a holiday. If you only need to spend a night this room would be fine for your needs. There is no breakfast or other amenities I saw included with the room. The location is very good and right behind downtown Blowing Rock so that was nice.
