Escape to this stunning 2-bedroom and a loft home, filled with custom woodwork, beautiful furnishings, and impressive views all around. The home boasts a modern mountain lodge style with soaring windows framing stunning mountain and forested views. Unwind in the living room while you warm up by the wood-burning fire and take in the views. Step into the gourmet kitchen and enjoy preparing meals on the brand-new Viking appliances before gathering for a meal with your group at the 6-person dining table. In the morning, make a cup of coffee with the drip coffee machine and take it out to the spacious deck to enjoy a peaceful start to your day. Or, enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub, an ideal spot to end a busy day of adventures.

When you are ready to tuck in for the night, the home comfortably accommodates you with 2 bedrooms and a loft spread across 2 levels. A main floor master bedroom offers a private retreat with a king bed, TV, dresser, and an en-suite bath with radiant floor heat and a large walk-in closet. Head upstairs to find an open loft space with a queen bed, plush couch, and a quiet workspace with a desk and office chair, making this a dynamic room to fit all of your needs during your stay. Just down the hall on the upper floor is the second bedroom, an inviting room with a queen bed and an en-suite bath that includes radiant floor heat and a walk-in shower. Two balconies on the upper level add extra space to step out and enjoy the fresh mountain air. A large mudroom on the main floor offers a convenient space to unload your outdoor gear, and keep up with any laundry needs, and includes the home’s third bathroom, a full bath with a bathtub/shower combo. This home offers the perfect blend of comfort, entertainment, and privacy, ensuring a memorable stay for your group or family getaway.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the house and outside areas. Guests will also have access to parking in the driveway, with room for 4 cars.

The Neighborhood:
This home is located between the beautiful towns of Alma and Fairplay, quaint mountain towns full of history, charm, and abundant outdoor adventures. Alma is known as the highest incorporated town in North America, sitting at 10,361 ft! The area is a gateway to endless outdoor adventures, with several 14ers in close proximity. While in the area, visit one of the historic mining towns such as Buckskin Joe, or head 10 miles over to Mosquito Pass, one of Colorado’s highest mountain passes, which provides stunning views of the Rocky Mountains. Hike the nearby Beaver Creek Trail, make your way to stunning Lake Criterion, explore Fairplay, or take the 40-minute trip to Breckenridge, where you can hit the ski slopes at Breckenridge Ski Resort or stroll Main Street and explore the many shops, restaurants, galleries, and museums there.

Getting Around:
This home is located just off Highway 9, the main highway in the area that runs from Alma and Fairplay up to Blue River and Breckenridge to the north. Its close proximity to this major highway and Highway 285 makes it easy to get on the road wherever your adventures take you. This area is known for its proximity to many of the region’s wonderful outdoor adventure locations, such as Breckenridge Ski Resort and several 14ers, including Mount Quandary and Mount Cross. The towns of Fairplay and Alma are within a 10-minute drive from the home. The Summit Stage Free Bus' Park County Commuter Route stops in both Fairplay and Alma, providing FREE transport all the way into Breckenridge.

Other Things to Note:
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.

Please note that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C.

Please note that during the winter, there may be road closures or delays. We recommend checking local road conditions and using a 4WD or AWD vehicle with snow tires or chains for safe travel.

Please note that the basement level including the garage is not available to guests and is locked off.

Wow, what a gem! You will not regret booking and staying here. The views, the peace and quiet, the stars at night, and what a comfy house. The kitchen is a work of art, the beds are heavenly. The hot tub overlooking the mountains after a busy day was ideal. Hope to return soon!
