"The property was very clean, well equipped and quiet. It kept cool during a very hot and sunny week. It was comfortable although we found the double bed mattress was rather too firm. "The house had everything we needed. A short (and beautiful) walk into Keswick and lots of walks from the doorstep. Near to the lake for water sports too. There was plenty of storage for our bikes and the kitchen was well equipped for self catering. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. Highly recommended."

"We ended up here very last minute and we loved every minute of the nine nights we stayed here it. It's a great place to stay if you want to be near to Keswick but not necessarly in Keswick. If you've got a big SUV parking can be tricky but our Renault Captur fitted in there fine. It's highly recommended."

"The house really makes the most out of its space. Really comfortable and modern yet still cosy. Everything is new, clean and well thought out. Having the downstairs toilet outside is a bonus and also the outhouse with washing machine, drier and freezer - it just frees up so much space. "We have stayed at Millside Cottage many times before and it's a favourite of ours. Cottage is very homely and well equipped. It was great to see that the shower has been upgraded. One suggestion is that the new Wood burner is not that practical to use as there is no companion set, or at the very minimum an available poker. Having a fire at home, we know that sometimes you really need a poker to "re-adjust" locations of logs within the fire to ensure that they are sat correctly."
