"Beautiful old convent reinvented to a unique hotel with so much character. We walked 5 mins into the little town to grab a bite to eat and a cocktail. We only stayed one night but it was lovely and very clean."

"The balcony is really nice. The toilet door doesn’t shut. Make my room light go off as I pull the card out, so room cleaning was not done. Despite telling the staff and at the reception verbally, the making the room was not done for 2 days during my stay."

"Lovely warm clean room perfect location. Would happily stay again"

"Lovely stay, we felt like we were staying with friends. We also appreciated the extra frig for guests and the fact that there were so many restaurants within a 5 minute walk."

"Great location. Handy to motorway and city. Quiet with little traffic. Room was as described and what we needed. Bathroom was lovely with heated flooring. Pool was well used by us and others. Restaurant had tasty, easy meals at a good price."

"Very nice and cosy"

"Traditional place very cool for friends to bond no tv which is awesome basic utilities not fancy perfect for a group of people"

"Cooking amenities lacking. Only 2 frying pans and 1 very small pot. One pan you could not use . It was so scratched that it was unsafe to cook in. Teatowel had holes in it. Fridge had last guests food still in it. Had to buy pegs to hang laundry. Washing machine on button was broken, thankfully they had another machine next to it. Rubbish bins were full. "Great hotel in the center of the business district. Can walk to sky tower, harbor, war Memorial Museum."

"Very unique property. Arrived at 10pm with a newborn and check in staff was so unhelpful, slow and just not a good experience! We ended up checking out as we felt horrible being there"

"This new place is a welcome discovery, perfectly positioned just a hundred metres or so from the Newmarket Train Station (direct CRL into the city) and also the Newmarket shopping district with Westfield, cafés etc. The rooms are very nicely appointed, the bed linen of excellent quality and the general ambience very pleasant. It presents excellent value in comparison to many other options - we will definitely we staying here again."

"Perfect location, walking distance from good cafes, restaurants, and shopping!"

"I enjoyed this motel as it felt like it’s maintained professionally (which can’t be said of many motels). It’s clean and comfortable and the staff is helpful. Restaurants, mall and train station nearby. Would recommend."

"The motel is relatively new and clean. The gated parking space is good. The room is clean and quiet with lots of plugs. However, the bathroom lacks any hooks or rails for towels, etc and is very inconvenient."
