Spectacular apartment, communication challenges
The apartment was as pictured and was excellent. Great views of the beach (and could hear the sea from the balcony). Large, spacious and worked perfectly for our family. Easy and good access to the beach, with playgrounds, volleyball nets and soccer nets on the beach as well as a pool. Water is deep as soon as you enter the water, but no undertow.
Grocery store a very short drive (or mid length walk), though not much for restaurants and night life nearby.
Communication with the property manager however was poor. Novasel did not respond directly to my email messages, sent generic autogenerated and non-responsive replies if they replied at all, and tried to force responses outside of VRBO. On arrival, they insisted on payment of the cleaning fee in cash as well as an extra payment in cash for bathroom towels and bed linens, pointing to their contract and disputing my VRBO reservation. I agreed to half payment for beach towels, and felt I had little choice since they said they would otherwise need to remove the bedding from the apartment. Despite paying (and not being given a receipt) I was not provided beach towels at all. None of this was identified in the VRBO description.
However, as noted, the apartment was wonderful, the sea was exceptional and we had a lovely stay once we put the attempt to upcharge us behind us.
