The house was built in the middle of the big 4500m² site, quietly situated on a slope.

The garden laid out as terraces, planted with an array of colourful flowers and many different kinds of fruit tree (tangerines, oranges, apricots, lemons, figs, olives, bananas etc.) border on large rock surfaces that are integrated harmoniously into it, giving the house a majestic appearance. The site f around 500m² has a generous swimming pool (7 x 12m) with a kids’ pool. The variety of views and the charm of the landscape are full of surprises and will delight you. Guests at this property are rewarded with a unique panoramic view of the countless bays of the Mirabello Gulf, as far as Agios Nikolaos. The terraces or balconies, all covered with pergolas, provide tables and chairs. A brick-built oven with a grill area has been built in the garden, according to Cretan tradition, where you can bake bread and prepare various Greek dishes. Next to it there is a marble table with benches, where you can enjoy the meals you have prepared, under the shade of trees and with fragrant air wafting around you. Another delight is the wonderful view of the sea from up here. It is an image that you will remember for a long time. The site is fenced. Children can play freely on this very large site and a sandpit is also available.

The apartment has two bedrooms, one with a double bed (160 x 200cm), the other with two single beds (90 x 200cm), bedside tables, a wardrobe and a mirror. The living room is furnished with a sofa that can be used as a fifth bed, a table, chairs and a TV. The living room opens onto the big balcony-terrace, affording a beautiful view of the sea and the landscape. The kitchen integrated into the living room is equipped with cupboards, a stove with electric rings, a fridge, coffee machine and plenty of crockery and cutlery. There is a bathroom with a washbasin, toilet and shower. The apartment has a safe, wireless Internet access, a TV and air conditioning. The furnishing in the house is solid wood, the bathrooms and kitchens are tiled, and the flooring is beautiful white marble.

After a charming trip from Agios Nikolaos (11km) in a south-eastern direction, parallel to the sea, along an especially beautiful panoramic coastal road with many inviting bays, interesting views of spits of land, little islands and lovely sandy beaches, you get to “Istron”. The house is nestled into a fabulous landscape, with hills running through it and mountains mostly covered with cedar trees, inviting you to go on walks and hikes. Large and small bays alternate, some with golden yellow sand and some with pebbles. It is only about 550 metres to the first bay with a long beach, half with fine sand and the other half pebbled. You can do something different every day in these various bays. There are good bus connections from the house in all directions around the island. There are shopping facilities and tavernas with Greek specialities in the vicinity.
