"We drove our car there at night, the road was wiggly & dark ( no lights other than the car lights). For us it was a little nerve racking. The view was pretty in the morning.
The room looked nice and clean, but the fridge was uncleaned,
Staff were nice and welcoming.
In the room description it said the mattress is Tempur-pedic, but that definitely wasn’t!.
In the room descriptions it said we would get a bottle of sparkling wine, but we didn’t get that either. I opened the drawers under the bed...

"Der er rent og pænt overalt og rengøringspersonalet er meget fleksible. I restauranten fik vi den dejligste mad og venlig betjening. Poolen er ikke så stor, men ligger rigtigt godt, og der er børnepasning og boblebad.
Alt i alt en skøn ferie."

"This is our 2nd visit here and we have booked again for Easter.
Absolutely love this place it’s ideally situated for central Chania and just a few metres from the buzz of the harbour. The rooms are lovely and well equipped and the bed is so comfortable, bathroom perfect and very clean and housekeeping every day. You have to walk a short way to their sister hotel for breakfast but all adds to the ambience. The breakfasts are fab with lots of choice. The only tiny issue is that there is no lift...

"Loved my stay here! Quiet location, perfectly situated just a few minutes walk from Chania Old Town and near a beach.
The staff are lovely and very helpful, showing great Greek hospitality day or night. Their local knowledge was invaluable.
The rooms are modern, kept very clean and spacious. Ours had a view of the sea and a big balcony. The bathroom had a large tub and a walk-in shower, with two sinks!"

"I truly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Akrotiri. The staff and the owner were incredibly kind and welcoming. From the moment I arrived, I felt at home—they treated me like part of the family.
The buffet breakfast was outstanding, featuring fresh, high-quality local products. Yesterday, I was also pleasantly surprised with a lovely little gift of local olive oil and natural honey, which was such a thoughtful gesture.
I felt genuinely welcomed, comfortable, and happy during my stay at this hotel. I am...

"Highly recommend staying at Alcanea. Eva, our host, was incredibly helpful and friendly. The staff/service was great. And the complimentary breakfast offered lots of local options and all were delicious. Best part of this stay was the view and location. The view of the port was awesome with the water, local bars/shops, and mountains in the distance. And there were dozens of restaurants and shops offering all we might need/want. This hotel made Chania feel like home."

"The location was INCREDIBLE! Just steps away from the cutest little streets with tons of shopping and restaurants. Chania is so picturesque and the stay is equally instagramable. The place was very well maintained and had all the necessities as long as you plan to go out to eat (there’s plates and glasses but no cooking equipment/kitchen). The private hot tub was such a nice touch and the staff was super helpful. We arrived very late around 10pm and they were quick to reply with instructions of...
