"Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The food was not good, and the Caesar salad was inedible. The TV in our room did not work, and despite the front desk staff’s efforts, they were unable to fix it. I do want to mention that the front desk employees were very friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Our room overlooked the lobby, and the noise level was excessive. "This hotel is a great 'home base' to explore Madrid. It is right beside several grocery stores and across the street from a subway station. Taxis are plentiful and available 24/7. The front staff are multilingual, friendly, and helpful. The room is larger than many in comparable places in western Europe, and (most importantly) the AC worked very well. I would definitely stay again if I have the chance to visit Madrid. Highly recommended!"

"This is a hostel so it is a bit different from a full service hotel. The location is great, very safe. We switched to a room with a bathroom shower, which made all the difference. But others may be fine with a shared bathroom. The rooms are very small worth it for the right price."
