"First the good. The staff was very considerate and helpful.
The bad:
1) overpriced compared to the competition who have newer more modern amenities
2) very dated rooms, grounds, etc
. Built in the 80s, stuck in the 80s.
3) got to resort only for them not to have our mtn view rm available, moved us to one the next day and comped breakfast
4) the new mtn view rm, had a door that drug and would hardly open, the screen door on the patio would barely open and close, the cabinet under the TV had...

"It is not new or modern, but we didn't expect that and, in fact, were looking for antique charm, which this is! Centrally located in Manitou Springs historic distric, so walking around all the shops and restaurants was super easy. We used the valet, so parking wasn't even a consideration or issue--again, super easy and worth the money. Lovely stay for an overnight or quick weekend getaway!"
