"Our first impressions were excellent. An immaculate reception area and good welcome, with early access to our room. The room itself, on the 5th floor, was tired and needing renovation with grimy looking net curtains. One of the wardrobes had a jammed door and disappointingly it took 4 seperate calls at reception before a repair was made. "Air con was not good for first few days, but spoke to Reception and was sorted straight away. Breakfast and lunch were good, but thought evening meal could have been better. Pool area and sunbeds were really good. Plenty of beds and you didn’t have to fight for a spot. Beach was lovely. Easy walk down, but walk back with a pram was hard going. All in all would definitely come back."

"Seth 55 is an excellent hotel. All staff go above and beyond to be courteous, polite, helpful and friendly. The hotel is in an elevated position but not too far to walk to the beach and crystal blue sea. We did not use the spa but the whole hotel is spotlessly clean, the food in the restaurant is varied daily and of excellent quality. The entertainment every evening was excellent too. "Was given a room on the ground floor which had a broken patio door onto the gardens. Informed staff about this at 6pm but it had not been looked at by the time I arrived back at the hotel at 9.30pm. Reception staff then looked at the door and were unable to fix it. I requested to be moved for security reasons as I was anxious about having an unlocked door on the ground floor and staff responded with ‘menorca doesn’t have a high crime rate it’ll be fine’. Understandably I wasn’t happy with this...
