"Definitely not the newest hotel on the block. The tub was rusty and had hair in it, the gym did not have weights (minimal equipment), and the breakfast was quick packaged items vs scrambled eggs, potatoes, etc like other hotels. It was noisy the first night. Very basic experience."

"Very cool historic building with antique furnishings and super comfortable bed. Paid a little extra to stay in the presidential suite which was very cool. Suite had a whirlpool, and an awesome sitting room overlooking downtown. My only gripe is the whirlpool wasn't able to get very hot at all. I assume the water heater can't keep up for the tub's demand. One guy on staff was friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that the lounge/bar/restaurant is no longer in service. Great Mexican restaurant...

"Everything was great, except there was a constant leak in the bathroom on the floor between the stool and the sink and in front of the sink. Large puddles of water that required towels to mop them up and the lightbulb in the bathroom kept blinking after the light was left on after 30 seconds. It was reported to the front desk, but nothing was done. It was Memorial Day weekend, and it would have been difficult to find someone to fix it. It didn't spoil our stay, though."

"Our reserved check-in date was for May 25 and once we learned we would be checking in late we informed the office because we didn't want to risk losing our reservation. Our check-in process was smooth. They gave us keys to room 112 and as soon as we walked in we were hit with a very strong and unpleasant odor, not to mention a few flies.
