"Habíamos reservado 3 habitaciones y al llegar solo les quedaban dos, me pareció un gesto muy feo y tuvimos que repartirnos entre las otras dos. Al día siguiente el manager fue amable y nos dio 3 suites y unas bebidas de cortesía por las molestias y no nos cobraron la habitación que compartimos. Gracias a eso la puntuación no es menor pero el inconveniente le sufrimos y lo peor de todo no fue que ganarán dinero vendiendo una habitacion reservada sino que si no hubiéramos ido nos la hubieran...

"Really nice hotel and very reasonable price. The rooms were really comfortable and clean. I didn’t use the facilities as I only stayed for one night but the bar/restaurant looked really inviting. Staff were really friendly. I did ask for a quiet room away from the busy main road but unfortunately my room overlooked the road. However, the traffic noise quietened into the evening so it didn’t really disturb me. There are a lot of dining options just outside the hotel if you want to try something...

The room was fairly standard, clean and spacious with a tub and rain shower. The Gamston Lock pub serves good food at reasonable prices, I would recommend booking as it is popular. "Good sized room and the bed was huge. The rooms are above the bar area which was fine as its wasn't too noisy. The car parking is easy as there is loads of space. I used this location as it was a short drive to the Water Sports Centre in Nottingham. the kitchens close about 8:30 ish so if you are late back for food I can recommend the Indian about 100mtrs down the road. All in all a nice location for a few days away"
