"Loved the location, nice view of the great Alaskan outdoors. The provision of small battery candles added to atmosphere and were perfect lighting for watching for the Northern lights. Close to activities and points of interest around of Fairbanks and reasonable drive for a day at Chene Hot springs. Great selection of healthy tea and organic coffee for a hot drink on a cold day. Wonderful vacation, we would go back next weekend if the flight from PA was not so long! "

"Although close to town, this could be a bad spot without at least an all wheel drive. Even though uphill from the river, there were flood warnings for the neighborhood and some of the area coming in had water a foot deep. The weather alerts said it could get deeper which was kind of unnerving. The internet and in turn the tv service was very spotty although this was a big deal for us but streaming was difficult and would cut off. "Our family had a wonderful stay! This was a bucket list trip for my wife’s mother who turns 80 this year. She’s always wanted to see the Northern Lights…and we did! Once on a tour and AGAIN right over our heads at this awesome cabin. The cabin is very cozy will all the conveniences need for our family of 5. The surroundings are very private and peaceful and North Pole, AK has all you need to stay provisioned. Fairbanks is 20-25 minutes away and is a great little town. We highly recommend staying...

"Enjoyed this cozy cabin with my son! About 50 yards from the river and while there is a cabin next door, it's very private. Enjoyed the local ice carving, sled dog tour and ice fishing. Didn't see the northern lights this time but have to leave something for the next trip! Def recommend this place!"
