"I really enjoyed my two night stay here. The place is set up for only one person, which was fine because it was just me, but it is set up very nicely! It was basically priced much better than any local hotels, but much nicer than a hotel and they don’t have an outrageous cleaning fee. I will definitely be coming back."

"It was great! My family enjoyed staying there. Except, the diesel smell upon checking in & had to use a towel to block the smell from the laundry room and using the provided air freshners. The stove was pretty old, and when turned on, it sparked up, so we werent able to use the front big burner when cooking. But other than that, it was decent."

"What a beautiful spot! It’s close enough to Fairbanks and its outlying places of interest for day trips galore. It was immaculate and had everything we needed from towels and toiletries to cooking pots/utensils and some pantry sundries. We didn’t need to take the owners up on their kind offer for anything we needed because we had everything. It’s a lovely space, and we recommend it highly. "

"Had a great stay. Apartment is set up nicely except we could have used two more chairs for the kitchen table. Having 4 people and only 2 chairs we had to eat in shifts. A book with pertinent information would have made it easier than checking an email. "

"While the surrounding properties were typical in Fairbanks, the accommodations at North Star were great. The owners were attentive, reaching out throughout my stay, to make sure all was well. The rooms were clean, comfortable and tastefully designed. The king size bed was so welcoming and comfortable as well…I would book this bnb again, simply for the great night’s sleep. TY North Star😊"

"Enjoyed this cozy cabin with my son! About 50 yards from the river and while there is a cabin next door, it's very private. Enjoyed the local ice carving, sled dog tour and ice fishing. Didn't see the northern lights this time but have to leave something for the next trip! Def recommend this place!"
