Windows are old (2 didn't close all the way) and some cupboard doors throughout the house are broken. 7 bedrooms but 1 only has curtains for a door and no window coverings. "The place was overall fine and the interactions with the property owner was great as they were very responsive. Positives: Location-10 to 15 mins from Grand Bend Beach and from Pinery provincial park. Screened patio in the back was great as we could sit out at night and not get bitten alive by mosquitoes. "This is a beautiful home and better than the pictures. We loved the attention of detail that was added to the decor that made it feel like home. We were really surprised to see a Christmas tree set up for us when we arrived on Christmas Day. "The property was beautiful and more than what we expected. Had a few questions about the property and owner answered the phone right away and very polite and accommodating. Only recommend bringing your own pillows if you “like” your pillows. "

We chose to stay with some of our wedding party at Cedarcliff not only because it was close by, but because we know it would be for great pre-ceremony photos of us and our party. The only comment I would make is that the house comfortable sleeps 10, not 12 as the listing suggests. We ended up putting one person in a cot in the living room and another guest on an air mattress we happened to have in our car."

"This house has character. The art work is well done, the house feels like a Victorian home. The owners checked in to make sure we were warm enough and added an extra mattress. They were very polite and tried hard. There are multiple elevations on each floor, making for tripping hazards. No smoke detectors visible. Just one entrance, not two. The furniture was quite adequate. No games, no books, no attraction list."
