"Sam was an excellent host for our 3-night stay in April. The kitchen and bathrooms had lots of amenities. The apartment is sunny; beds are comfortable. Street parking was always available. Would happily stay here again."

"Great and quiet location. Easy access to public transportation. The place is clean, communication with manager is easy and prompt. I'd suggest a little more warmth to the home, such as rugs, mirrors, plants as well as more hangers and benches in the bedrooms so we can place clothes and miscellaneous stuff at an easy reach! Also, the description says there's a futon couch in the living room, but actually it is just a sectional couch with unremovable cushions, which isn't perfect for comfort....

"If you enjoy the real experience of a new place like I do then this is the place for your stay. Modest but well stocked with everything you will need and in a great location to get a real feel for the city. 5 stars and highly recommended for your Oakland Experience! "The house is perfect for what advertisers to be. It is a good basic apartment with all the necessary appliances. Two things for a guest to be aware of. There is very limited cookware. If you like to cook you could find yourself short some necessary pieces. Also the shower has a very slippery floor - be careful. But overall I was very happy with the accommodation."

"The communication with the host in regards to the property and check in was excellent. The property was centrally located. I know the area well as I was visiting relatives and it suited my needs fine as a place to stay and spread out. Outdoor patio was a huge bonus, which I appreciated as a lovely space to sit and get some work done on the laptop. I would absolutely stay there again and recommend it."

"This property met our needs. We appreciated that we were allowed to bring our dog and everything we needed to do was conveniently located. It was a quick weekend so we didn’t have a lot of time to just hang out in the cottage. Our overall impression with it was kind of cute and funky, but could have been a little cleaner."
