"This property did not disappoint! It is even more beautiful than the pictures show. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the kitchen was incredibly well stocked. The hosts were very communicative and very helpful. They helped us plan our days on the island. They also had instructions on how to use different pieces of equipment around the house. The views from the windows are lovely but are equally rivaled by the walled garden from the dining table. We were so sad to checkout!"

"Great location to explore Skye. Views from the cottage were spectacular, was nice to have two sitting areas from which to enjoy them. House is very well equipped with everything we could’ve needed especially in the kitchen. Bedrooms well furnished too and very comfortable, blackout blinds were perfect for the early morning sun and having three bathrooms was a treat. Beds were comfy too. Our first visit to Skye and it didn’t disappoint!"

When I called, the property manager met us and informed us that the deck was being redone which should have been finished when we arrived, but obviously wasn't. Owner was very easy to communicate with and provided all the details we needed in advance as well as having additional information available at the residence. The house was very comfortable and charming. It is in a great location for views over the city and a close walk to the grocery store, town, and dock. Street parking was no issue for us. The info and photos online are dated and because that set expectations, our initial impression was disappointing - which planted a seed of doubt. Thankfully, the TV, mattresses and towels were all fine. Our stay would have also been enhanced by any kind of general info letter. "My partner and I absolutely loved the cottar! The interior is like a museum with many pictures, paintings and historic tools from the herring fishery exhibited. The house offered everything we need, including a very well equipped kitchen. The view is stunning and with the binoculair provided we enjoyed watching seals playing just in front of the house. Eoin was a great host and who showed to really care for this cottage and his guests. Would definitely recommend! :)"
