"This is a lovely property. The negative is no A/C - which we knew going in. There is a fan which helps a lot. Lucinda is an excellent cook, try to schedule meals there if you can, you won't regret it. If you have any mobility issues at all, check the bungalow you are in. Ours had 64 steps door to car, with bags and coolers that is rough. The grounds are beautiful, well maintained and full of life. "

"I stayed at Almost Paradise from March 12-26 and the best way I can describe it is as a dream come true. My adorable cottage sat on a hillside overlooking the ocean, and waking up every day to the gorgeous view was one of the amazing things about my stay. The cottages have all been beautifully taken care of, and I appreciated the property housekeeper coming in daily to tidy up. "The location is great if you’re looking to be in a quiet, more removed area. The beach is lovely and very secluded. You need to walk up the road and down a big hill to get to it. We didn’t mind at all. It looks like there used to be a walkway right from the property but it’s no longer usable as it’s not been maintained. The host and property caretaker were very helpful."
