"This cottage was perfect for our stay. The cleanliness and quality of all the rooms meant it was extremely comfortable. Communication with the owner was easy and friendly. "The cottage was exceptional, well equiped, very clean, nicely decorated and positioned close to Ballater for walks into town for lunch or a coffee and wander around and to visit the local attractions and nearby towns. It is also positioned well to visit the east coast and whiskey trail areas and the Cairngorm walks. Staying for a week it was so helpful having the laundry and equipment. Our stay was very enjoyable."

"This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. It is a very cosy and comfortable holiday cottage, that is well equipped. It has comforrtable beds, with sparkling white linens and towels. "Situado en un entorno rural con la planta baja (zonas de restaurante y de bar con chimenea) bonita, la habitación doble ("Honeybarrel") con baño no llegó a cumplir nuestras expectativas ni el nivel alto que el establecimiento tiene como objetivo. Ambos eran sobre todo muy pequeños y carecían de armarios (teníamos que dejar el equipaje en el pasillo detrás de la puerta de la habitación y una maleta en el coche). "We loved our stay in the Balmoral lodge. Excellent location, well equipped and comfortable. Only tiny thing I’d mention is that in the facilities there is ‘free toiletries’ listed, but it was only hand soap so we did have to nip to the local shop. So maybe just take that off the description as it may be misleading? We’d love to come back again soon, we had a fantastic time. Thank you! "

"The cabin was amazingly beautiful. The decor was very very nice. Everything was very clean and the views were beautiful. First thing I did was take pictures of the cabin to send home.
