Dono la benvinguda a qualsevol persona amb curiositat, però si generalment no us agraden les begudes alcohòliques fortes com el tequila i el whisky, us recomano una altra degustació centrada en l'alcohol més lleuger anomenat Makgeolli. L'alcohol coreà és molt més que una simple ampolla verda de soju, que és etanol diluït amb edulcorant artificial. En termes generals, els alcohols coreans es divideixen en Tak-ju (sense filtrar/Makgeolli), Cheong-ju (filtrat) i So-ju (licor). Aquí ens centrarem en la nostra especialitat, el soju, però també en tastarem altres tipus.

El soju Samhae era una beguda espirituosa molt estimada entre la classe noble de la dinastia Joseon (1392~1894) i aquest soju de luxe tenia un seguiment de culte. El mestre actual, Hyeonjong Kim, havia après i practicat durant més de 10 anys amb el mestre Taeksang Kim, qui havia heretat i conservat la recepta a la família. Tindrem el privilegi de tastar la història.
