Description

Since 1956, we have captivated people with our warmth and magical aura. The Mai-Kai authentically recreates a Polynesian village, complete with tiki torches, a thatch roof, tropical gardens, waterfalls and museum-quality artefacts. The exciting Islander Revue is performed nightly by native Polynesian dancers in colourful hand-sewn costumes. The Hawaiian Wedding Dance will seduce you, and the Samoan Fire and Knife Dance will leave you speechless. The revue is a favourite of all ages. The award winning cuisine includes American and Asian dishes, many prepared in our Chinese Ovens, and each dining room reflects a different Island of Polynesia.

The Molokai Bar is a South Seas saloon with over 50 tropical drinks and live music nightly. This is also the home of the “Mystery Drink”, served by our sarong-clad maiden with an orchid lei. Try our house specialities – Mai-Tai and Barrel o'Rum. Happy Hour nightly 5 - 7 pm with half off most drinks and all starters.

Our Mai-Kai Trading Post and Gift Shop gives you the chance to bring home your favourite memories of the Mai-Kai. From Hawaiian shirts and hats to Polynesian jewellery, everyone is sure to find something to bring home. In November of 2014, Mai-Kai was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

We liked everything about this dinner show. It is our second time in about one year and a half and the food and show was just as good as the first time! Very well organized, service is friendly and excellent, atmosphere and decor very Polynesian and the view was good too from where we were. It's such a large venue yet the show can be seen from anywhere in the dining area. A must see and very reasonably priced. Thank you again for an all around great time!

The show was fun I loved that It has been in business for 62 years. I went when I was a little girl and it was fun to share it with my nieces. If you have young children I would go to the earliest dinner seating.
