"We stayed the weekend for our 26th anniversary and had a wonderful time. Very private and everything was as described. The cottage is super charming! Will definitely be going back!"

"Cabin-like rental across the street from the lake and a 2-3 minute's walk to the causeway. Bed is comfortable, and there is a nice deck out front and there are kayaks, which we not able to use, but it's a nice feature. A few caveats: if you have mobility issues, you might want to avoid this place because you have to walk on grass a fair stretch to get from the driveway. The bathroom is not that private: the ceiling is completely open. There were also a lot of mosquitos."

"The cottage was just what we wanted for a ski week. Location = private and remote on a steep dirt road, yet 20 min to Sugarbush, 30 min to Bolton, and <15 min to both Waterbury and Waitsfield centers. House = ideal for 2 adults and 2 kids - 3 spacious bedrooms with comfy beds and 2 nice baths. Cozy living area, surprisingly great light for an old farmhouse, warm and efficient gas stove, and all the kitchen supplies you'll need - plus washer and dryer. "Perfect little cottage for a family with kids. It rained all day but the house offered plenty of excitement indoors for the young kids and the adults. Well appointed, thoughtfully decorated, and a great price."

"We stayed here for the second time because I find it so enjoyable. The view is beautiful and it’s only about 15 minutes from UVM. A perfect place for a small group (if you can do stairs). It’s an older cottage with a lot of character; mismatched dishes, small stove/oven, slightly uneven floors, fun knickknacks everywhere, beautiful views of Mallett’s Bay, and lots of windows. Gordon and Beverly are super nice and easy to chat with."

"While there are some things mentioned before that could be improved with new, this was a great stay for the price. The place was clean and well kept. A good value with plenty of space for us in between the basketball tournament games. We’d definitely stay here again next time."

"Beds were comfortable and the 3 season porch was a great place to unwind. We enjoyed the view of the water from the house. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes. At night we could hear tree frogs calling on the other side of the road, which was fun. There's also a park nearby with walking trails, and a grocery store close by. Zachary's Pizza is also close and we had an excellent pizza there. It was about 20 minutes to downtown Burlington. A very relaxing place to stay, so glad we found it!"
