"It was a lovely gated community , safe and serene surrounded by nature . A bit far from train station though if you don’t have a car . Harold wood station is 9 minutes drive where you can catch the Elizabeth Line . The only concern was that a fob should be given to long term guests to get in and out of the main gate , that was a hassle . Otherwise I would highly recommend this stay ."

"We booked a secret wedding in London and needed a place in the middle for our families to meet up. It catered for all of us! We had 2 children under 3, and 14 adults but it didn't seem cramped. "This was the 2nd time we have stayed at Little Barn. For ourselves this is a great place for the few night stays, to visit our daughter and partner in Cambridge. Verity is a great host, the fridge has all the essential items, plus some thought-out extras. All round excellent stay."

"The house was very nice. It was close to the train station about a 5 minute walk. It was a little further than what I expected outside of London but we took the train or an uber in and out of the city when needed. There were some great restaurants and bars at the end of the street as well as grocery stores. The host was very responsive, we had a wifi issue when we first arrived and they sent someone out right away to fix the router."

"We stayed here for two nights whilst attending slam dunk festival. It was within a good distance for us to travel by taxi and the property itself was very well decorated. The beds were super comfy and having 3 toilets in the house between a large group was a bonus. There’s a large garden space to enjoy the sunshine and plenty of space to socialise in the house also. "Chalet dated but very clean and well equipt. Fabulous location and we sat outside on the decking frequently. Very close to a main trainline into London but we knew this as visiting friends having previously lived in Broxbourne. Didn't bother us. Sofa not comfortable to sit & enjoy TV. Very hard. Only other negative was the twin beds. Despite the mattress toppers, the springs in the mattresses have gone. They do need replacing. Sadly we had an uncomfortable few nights sleep! "
