"A very friendly welcome when we arrived. The property is in a quiet street within easy walk of the Hoe, Barbican and the city centre. Parking can be difficult, but there were spaces when we arrived. Instructions are sent by the owner after booking, but it basically involves a pass for some free parking and paying for the rest. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a great nights sleep. There is a shower in the ensuite, but as this is only protected by a shower curtain, the floor...

"We found the staff to be pleasant, attentive and friendly. The hotel is well situated next to the Drake mall and under 10 minutes downhill to the Barbican (fun navigating through the 6 foot wide lanes!). Take the lift to - 1. Very good value for the facilities provided and surpasses rival budget chains on price and location. "Great hotel and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Had a nice meal and amazing breakfast in the Marco Pierre white restaurant with a lovely panoramic view of Plymouth Hoe and out to sea . My only criticism would be the evening meal in the Marco Pierre restaurant was not at the standard I expected because my the Cod I had with my meal was tasteless . I would highly recommend this hotel and would book again . "
