"A beautiful mix of an older well maintained period building from the 1940's and well made rooms and cottages that stay within its original form. Placed in an excellent spot, by the river, with lots of bird and smaller antelope wildlife. Excellent staff, very friendly and extremely helpful. Internet could be much better."

"We had only 1 night stay here so didn’t get to experience the full stay, but overall it excellent service, only suggestion is be physically fit if staying in the honeymoon tent as it is located at the bottom of the hill so carrying luggage up can be a challenge for some, beautiful tent"

"Very friendly, dedicated and caring staff. Christine at reception was a darling. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We liked the minibar. They even gave us a hot water bottle for our room. Water was provided and internet was great. We would come back and enjoyed our stay. Parking and pool were there. Breakfast had a lot of choices. It had a guarded gate, so it is a very safe place."

"This property is nothing like the description or photos on Expedia. When challenged at check in the properties management stated that the descriptions were those of Expedia not of their own!! This is a One Star property charging Four Star prices probably due to local demand! The rooms smelt musty and were not attractive at all. "The Aberdare Country Club is for the most part amazing, but with so much potential to be more than it is. The location is great for tourists, but lousy if you're in Nyeri for business as it's a ways out of town. The little villas are quaint, but it would still be nice to have a tv and internet.
