The sofa bed was horrible (juste for one personne) So three persons had no place to sleep and the host didnt care and told us that we should bring our own matress. "High Peaks Hideaway was just as advertised! Our family of 5 came up for a long weekend of skiing and sightseeing. "Spent almost a week with family at the chalet. Great location in town with plenty of restaurants and lakeside shops within walking distance. Ample parking for at least a few vehicles. Good mix of indoor and outdoor areas for socializing, including the downstairs game room for kids, and with comfortable overflow bedding both upstairs and downstairs beyond the three bedrooms. Will stay again if coming back in town."

"The Owl House is a real gem. A charming and well-built A-Frame nestled in the hills of the Adirondack region. Easy access from the regional interstate added to the convenience of this location.
