"Such a wonderful couple of nights and days spent on this gorgeous property. So lovingly restored and renovated. The staff were wonderful and David was fantastic - the drive around the property was a highlight. We had forgotten how easy it is to access the Barossa with the North/South roadway - won't be making that mistake again! It won't be the last time that you see us ❤️ "

"Perfect base for exploring wine country. Our cottage was nestled in a vineyard with a lovely garden. It was very clean and well appointed with food for breakfast and snacks. Check in was easy and effortless. A wonderful experience. "

"The place is basic and simple, as expected. The carpet was grey with dirt in areas and needed a clean, however the owner is now trying to charge me $165 for cleaning the carpet due to dog smell. This is after we paid him $60 extra in cash to be nice as we had 3 dogs. This was above what we already paid just as a nice gesture. The owner, David, still tried to charge us for cleaning even though he advertised it as pet friendly and we ticked “pets” as coming. Very opportunistic and...

"Wonderful property. Quality decor, beds, fittings, kitchen . Spent a long weekend with friends. Beautiful big kitchen which was very well equipped so very social cooking. Large dining table leading into sitting room. Rooms was large, very comfortable with linked quality bathrooms. High shower heads, big baths. Good heating . "A big property with loads of history and a great vibe that accommodated a large group of friends, with wonderful creature comforts such as a Nespresso and a huge range of tea, with a lovely cheese platter awaiting us. "This place is a lovely home and perfect for a group of eight adults, looking for an escape from the city life. The place was well equipped with supplies and entertainment options for a large group of people. It well located within the Barossa Valley with many vineyards nearby. When we experienced an issue with the spa, the property managers when above and beyond to resolve the issue during our stay. I would definitely be trying to book this location again, if I return to the Barossa Valley."
