"Welcoming, friendly, casual place to stay. Room had all you need. Clean and fresh. Some maintenance 'teething issues e.g. damp/ mould on skirtingboard. Food 3 star dining. Some lighter, smaller portioned options would be a welcome addition to the evening menu. Popular with local community. "

"Stayed for one night to use as a base to go to football at Brighton. Ten minute walk to the railway station and then a short journey to Falmer which is right next to the stadium "

"Welcoming pub, just stand between the beams if you're 6ft+ tall. Be aware breakfast only starts at 0830 which is too late for most working people but they made me a sandwich to take with me instead so that was appreciated."
