"A notebook was provided with every detail about the property imaginable, along with appliance manuals. Property was spacious and comfortable! Just remember to hold the handle up on the exterior door while engaging the deadbolt! Wonderful location to Cellardyke and a quick walk to Anstruther. Would’ve liked to had more time to walk the Coastal Path."

"Lovely cottage, modern fittings and original features blended well. Well equipped and a convenient location. Shame the galleries in the village weren’t open as it was out of season and limited eating out options. Local people friendly and helpful. Would go again"

"Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche in Pittenweem in diesem Apartement verbracht, das echt ein Traum ist!!! Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wir konnten von der Lage der Terrasse gar nicht genug bekommen ... hatten das Glück dort auch frühstücken zu können. Sogar Delphine konnten wir sehen. Unterhalb der Terrasse nisteten Möven ... der Ort ist klein und schnuckelig. Wir können alles nur empfehlen!!! Sehr nette Vermieterin."

"The Shore is a very cosy and comfortable one bedroom cottage/flat. It is very well-equipped, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. It was very easy to communicate with the host and nothing was too much trouble. The area is very beautiful with plenty to do, including beach walks, exploring the villages of the East Neuk of Fie, and enjoying the lovely cafes, pubs and restaurants . We prefer the self catering rather than the bed and breakfast type places because we are jet lagged and tend to sleep in. We also don’t eat a large breakfast. "We wanted to take our parents back to an area we love with fond memories and that of course was Fife. We needed a cottage big enough for four, spacious and all the essentials. Sleeping six, we found it in Kilconquhar, a short throw from Elie, Anstruther, even St Andrews and yet peaceful enough to sit on a night and read a book. Two bathrooms/toilets, a dining area more than adequate and of course a big enough kitchen to practice ones favourite pastime! What was there not to like?"

"Ideal location with charming village area nearby. Easy walk to local pub and to the water. Flat was spacious and well equipped; but could have used a bit more maintenance and some air freshener (near the sea, so a bit of a damp, musty smell). It was a bit farther from central Edinburg (~40 min) than I had expected; but the quaint village feel of the area was well worth the few extra minutes drive. All in all a nice place to support local sight seeing and day trips."

"El hotel para ver Edimburgo perfecto. La habitacion era moderna. Entraba aire frío por la ventana pero tenia calefaccion. La habitacion estaba en el 1° piso (sin ascensor). Desayuno buffet bastante decepcionante, poca variedad y calidad nefasta. Gran parking vigilado delante del hotel. Parada de bus en las cercanias X55 para edimburgo. Al lado del hotel hay una tienda de comida rapida, que siempre tiene gente y muy muy barato de precio, merece mucho la pena si no quieres cenar en edimburgo u asi."
