Hoteles en Distrito de Columbia

We stayed two nights at this Holiday Inn because Club Quarters (where we usually stay every time we go to Washington DC) was already full. The hotel is located pretty close to the Space & Air museum and the Mall, but what other reviews don't say is that it's just next to Amtrak's tracks, and most of the rooms (even those facing the patio) are very noisy. In addition, the Starbucks located in the hotel building (which closes before 7pm at the weekend) is the only place where you'll be able to get anything to eat in the surroundings, so you'll have to walk across the Mall and Penn Ave to D St in order to have dinner. Our saty was a complete disaster: the first night we had both rooms facing the train tracks, they weren't able to relocate us (in all fairness, they offered us room 666, which was empty...) and we weren't able to get any sleep because every ten minutes a train would pass. The second night we were in rooms facing the patio (in which you can also hear the train) and the AC system was malfunctioning, so it was running full power, with the fan in high position, and we couldn't turn it off... it took till 3am to get someone to stop it. The service couldn't have been worse. I seldom advise against a hotel, but this one if by far the worst in Washington DC: choose any other! -------- El peor hotel de Washington DC, sin duda alguna: junto a las vías del tren, servicio pésimo, y sin un sólo sitio donde cenar en los alrededores. TOTALMENTE DESACONSEJABLE. Elegid otro.

Hotel muy bien ubicado a un par de cuadras -blocks- del National Mall del lado del Museo Smithsoniano. Muy buena limpieza y con piscina en el piso 12. Muy cómodo y elegante. Lo que requiere un turista que se decide por caminar en Washington. A unos metros está la estación del metro L'Enfant. Sin embargo en los alrededores no hay mucha actividad económica, por lo que se debe buscar restaurantes a varias calles de ahí. El restaurante del hotel es bueno y siempre hay taxis en la puerta.
