"Villa Kayu Raja is in a good location, but not really walkable to restaurants or the beach, especially at night. The sidewalk ends a bit before the villa, so you’re left walking in the busy street. The villa itself is nice, but I was unimpressed with the private pool. It is very small and the yard itself is deceiving in size from the pictures. Virtually no sunlight comes into the pool area as well, so the pool is a bit chilly and you aren’t able to do any sun tanning. The price is a bit steep...

"Old villas that need to be updated. Location was fantastic. Breakfast not good. There are no common showers so we couldn’t have a shower after the beach. Staff was nice, they gave us our room before check in time (although they refused at first) "

"We had an excellent stay in the 2 bedroom villa. 2 adults 2 kids. Staff were amazing and so helpful. Wonderful with the kids too, nothing is a bother. Cleaning and service was fantastic. "Never ever book this hotel even if you get free deal. Worst ever experience. I travel globally but never had such a bad experience anywhere. They literally don’t pick up your call if you need anything. The shower gel was finished and I made complaint 3 times, still they didn’t refill it. Also bathroom shower gel dispenser was broken before I checked in and they thought I broke it. Later on confessed that it was their mistake. The reception staff is not at all polite. "
