"Beautiful rental within walking distance from Rockin' on the River. The place was very clean, bed was very comfortable, and the rooftop deck was a huge plus. "We stayed at this house in Avon Lake for 5 nights. It was great! House was super clean, very well provisioned and the host couldn't have been better - very responsive (but not intrusive). "Perfect stay! YOU GET THE ENTIRE TOP FLOOR OF THE HOUSE TO YOURSELF!! When I booked it, I thought I only had one bedroom of several. Actually I had 2 bedrooms, a sitting room, my own bathroom, all super clean and tidy. And I was only one person! Brian and his wife and lovely and welcoming, very interesting to chat with. Super quiet location, across the street from beautiful Lake Erie. Highly recommended!"

"The property was very clean. Which we have found to be lacking in some other places we have stayed in the area. The back yard having a privacy fence was a plus for us traveling with a dog so that he could have some freedom himself. The basement was finished and ready for either watching tv or playing one of the many boardgames provided is perfect for anyone with kids to teenagers. It's a short drive to restuarants, and shopping. I would definitely stay there again."

"This property was advertised to be located in an area , which was 30 minutes away from the actual property. We walked in , there was a musty old smell . Rug was severely stained. Couch had stain circles on it . We immediately walked out and did t stay there . They refused to refund our money . The beds are shoved against the walls , so anyone trying to get out of bed in the night has to crawl over the other person . There’s also an apartment over the rental , which was not disclosed ."

"The house was perfect for us! We booked a long weekend for the eclipse as Lorain was in the path of totality. The house had enough space for everyone to enjoy and the outside was beautiful too. The house was clean and had everything we needed and if we needed anything Erie’s Market was across the street (excellent Indian food)! The neighborhood is quiet and we slept well. It was a great stay. Rob and Melissa were excellent hosts. We hope to be again soon."

"We enjoyed our stay at this home. It was perfect for our trip to Ohio for Thanksgiving. Conveniently located by I-90 & Avon shops & restaurants. The kitchen had everything we needed, the wi-fi & TVs worked great & our dogs enjoyed the backyard. The morning of packing-up, we had a flat. The owner was very understanding & helpful. We will definitely stay again!"

"We stayed at the Coach House for a week while visiting our son at Oberlin College. Both my husband and I were able to work remotely as well with plenty of space to spread out. The house is a perfect size and we loved the location close to the beach/park and nearby restaurants and stores. We were even able to bring our dog with us for the trip. We have 3 more years of visits so we will probably be back. Patrick & Brooke were great hosts too and very communicative and helpful."
