"Quaint, clean and uncluttered. Excellent."

"What a little gem of a find. Absolutely beautiful cottage right in the woods and yet a 5 min drive to town. Jack is a wealth of knowledge and there is bird and possum feeding at certain times. There are beautiful parrots, a goose, chickens and a free range rabbit. Kids would love this place and there is a play area for the littlies. "Staff were friendly and helpful; units were a little out date and could do with a freshened up but still tidy and practical with great water pressure, we stayed 2 nights totally enjoyed our time there with no issues and will definitely return for a longer stay "

"The communication from Bicheno by the Bay was exceptional, making our check-in and checkout very simple (even considering we arrived after their reception had closed). We were given a larger room than we had booked, which was really lovely. It was well appointed with all the amenities we needed. It's situated in a great location close to all the local attractions and facilities (like the IGA). They provided a map of the local area and recommendations for where to go. "Considerate stay, we were welcomed by clean and furnished stay with everything u need - clean sheets, clean toilet, the cottages provided extra pillows for my pregnant wife which I’m really pleased. My young children had so much fun with cockatoo and kangeroo spotting. We could hang out around the cottage with everything in one spot, cooking, juices, condiments provided when we forget ours. Really pleased with the stay"

"We stayed here for one night at the weekend with my baby girl, husband and 2 couple friends. The house was amply spaced for the 7 of us, it had everything we needed including oil, coffee, a lovely selection of tea. It’s the perfect comfortable base to the hunter region. I cannot recommend this place enough. To top it off, communication with Jodie the host was quick, easy and hassle free- overall a great experience and we’ll cherish forever."

"Absolutely Perfect! The location was amazing with a view to die for. The range of blues in the ocean from aqua to deep blue were captivating. Photos do not do the view justice. Absolute beach front and easy walk down to the beach and water. The veranda was protected from the wind with mid morning to afternoon sun & side deck captured the morning sun. "It is located walking distance (10-15 min) from major attractions, plenty of restaurants in the area. Bedrooms (2) are in the second floor by stairs. The property is in an historical heritage building, so layout and space distribution is a little unusual, which adds to the charm. The host is next door and readily available if needed ( we did not have any issues with the property)."

"We enjoyed our three day stay, very comfy beds, everything there that we needed to cook our dinner. Great tv with Stan and Amazon. But the beauty of the Grove is that the bird life, and creek across the road is so very special."
