Two private cabins (listed separately on VRBO) located in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. Property is a gated deer farm that is secluded, peaceful, full of wildlife, and has two stocked twenty acre lakes. Bring your fishing gear, kayak or canoe to enjoy the use of the lakes. Bismarck is located 7 miles from Farmington MO. Several local attractions include: St. Joe State Park : 3miles (Off-road riding area, hiking trails, swimming & fishing areas), Elephant Rocks State Park: 13miles (hiking, climbing, playground), Johnson's Shut-Its State Park: 26miles (hiking, swimming, natural formations), Historic Battle of Pilot Knob State Park: 21miles (Visitor Center & Museum, hiking), Missouri Mines State Historic Park: 9miles (museum, mineral collection), Historic Caledonia: 11miles (Old Village Mercantile, Shops, weekend events), Bonne Terre Famous Mine Tours: 18miles (underground mine tour, scuba diving), Haunted Ridge Rocks: 24miles (Rock hounding, digging). Wonderful Weekend
A quick drive from St Louis and we were happily secluded in nature. Safe and secure with hosts that make sure you have everything you need. Lake views, outdoor seating, nice fire pit, full kitchen and VERY comfy beds for all inside. Caledonia is a great little town nearby. State parks for longer hikes in all directions. Although you can stay put and walk around the lakes on site. So many options for various groups- families or friends alike. Would definitely book again.

Great property, greats hosts!
Our family loved everything about our stay here. Hosts were nice and accommodating. Secluded and secure property. We seen a lot of wildlife right from the windows and porches. Definitely recommend for couples or families that want a quiet relaxing weekend.

Outstanding Accommodation
In town for a family reunion. The cabin was perfect for our family. Quiet and peaceful. Kids caught some fish! Loved watching the deer and wildlife. Host was excellent and most helpful.
