Location, location, location. It’s all about proximity to the places I go to when in NYC for business or fun. Been staying there off & on for 10yrs, no major problems. Sometimes great views for half price of the hotels next door.
The a/c would switch on heater in the middle of the night by itself and you would wake up sweating. The hotel is very old and not updated at all. The workers we move but we had a bag that was delivered from the airport and they refused the bag because the kids name wasn’t on the reservation even though we had called and let them know we were expecting it multiple times. The bathroom floor was kind of dirty and the rooms were TINY!
I truly liked the room, how clean it was, and how easy check-in was as well as check out.
The pictures online are deceiving. Our king size bed was the entire size of the bedroom. Very small. The air conditioner unit did not work and our room was very hot. To the point where we couldnt even sleep under the covers. The location in its own was very convenient. Couple minute walk to Central Park. And about a ten minute walk to Times Square. The hotel served its purpose but would never stay here again. Staff extremely friendly. Check in was at four but we got to check in early at 1. They hold your bags for you until your room is ready so you can start visiting nyc the moment you get there.
