Loved how close the hotel was to Times Square literally a 30 second walk! The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The pool was an added extra that a lot of New York hotels don’t have. The bar was very quiet but still welcoming. Just had breakfast once it was nice but preferred to go out for breakfast

Upon walking in, there was a very overpowering and unpleasant fragrance in the lobby. After checking in and getting to our room, our keys would not work. The hotel staff was apologetic and fixed the cards. The carpet in our room looked very dirty and the walls weren't clean. Pictures online must have been taken a long time ago. Beds were comfortable but room was so hot that we couldn't sleep. Called maintenance and he did come in a timely manner. After making sure our unit was working properly, he stated that the steam must have been too hot. After a short period he returned to our room and we were able to cool the room down but by morning the room was 75 again. We were unable to get the room below 74 for the duration of our stay. Housekeeping was great. Always had fresh towels and ample personal hygiene amenities. 2nd night after returning back to hotel, we were followed in by a few young men who made us very uncomfortable. As a small boutique hotel, we were not expecting the type of party. After calling the front desk and voicing my concern, I was told it was a private party and there was nothing they could do. Never seeing anyone, I asked if the hotel had security or if there was anyone to monitor the people coming in and was told the hotel was safe. Elevators didn't have card access security so anyone could access your floor. No hot water 2 mornings in a row and no coffee pot in room. Liquor in mini fridge but no water. The location was great.
The location was great! Just be sure to ask for a room not close to the street as it can be loud.
