Stunning views. Spacious.
This hotel was more like an apartment. We had to go down a cobbled street to get to the accommodation and on first appearances it was stunning. The little terrace from the ground floor and up the stairs in the bedroom was stunning. Views over the mountain side with the Capileira chimneys in the foreground. Kitchen, living area and cutlery all good. Seemed to good to be true. We couldn't get the gas to work and there was no information anywhere. No maps. No numbers if we needed anything. No phone. We finally went up the hill to ask at the 'reception' (a very cute local bar) but it was closed. We knocked on a another apartment door and it is a switch you flip on the gas cylinder. Also it was noisy. You can hear the TV and noises through the walls. And the shower was a shocker. Very small. But hot. Also it was broken and you have to hold the hose. After 2 days we worked out how to fix it. And we ran out of toilet paper and it wasn't replaced. There was no cleaning for the 4 nights we were there or checking of facilities. Bed was so firm it was like a rock. Wi-fi was very good. All in all it was o.k but I wouldn't go back.
Pros: The views. It was spacious. Good WI-Fi
Cons: No one to help with issues. Noisy. 1 role of toilet paper for 4 nights. Bed hard. No information(e.g Gas). Hard beds. Broken shower. Small shower.
Location: Restaurants fantastic. Great walks in the village to explore and surrounding mountains and villages.
