Location was perfect - within walking distance from the Metro and within 3 min walk was Casa Batillo. Everything was fine, room is just a bit smaller than we are used to in the US and the sink being in the bedroom instead of inside the bathroom was odd.
This property is consistently great. We stayed here in December for 11 days to visit family. The rooms are clean and quiet with windows that seal out street noise. The breakfast buffet is wonderful and is available until noon which is great for overseas travelers. It is a great location for all attractions and the staff is exceptional. They are happy to help with directions and restaurants. Closets are too small for long stays even though we had a suite. Great hotel with good security measures.
The place was walking distance to so many places. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were good size.
Location location location ! That the biggest thing that is going for this hotel . It’s right in the middle of everything : transportation, Main Street , la Rambla , Plaça de Catalunya , etc . We literally walked everywhere , except MontJuic and Família Sagrada, which was a short cab ride. The hotel is very nice , clean and friendly . Breakfast was great and included . The only thing that was a bit off , is the tiny room ( literally tiny ), but they did offer an upgrade for extra money , which we didn’t take , as we didn’t spend much time in a room anyway . But I do wish that even a standard room was a bit bigger with more storage space. We lived out of our suitcases , because there was only one closet , very small and narrow . But whatever , we enjoyed our stay nonetheless . For the future , it should be included in a standard room description, that the room is tiny and very dark , so people make the right choices . Otherwise , the bed was comfortable, pillows were good , clean linen.
The staff was wonderful, location is great and value for money is great as well. Highly recommend
